The proposed vehicle establishment for the budgeted period totals 935 United Nations owned vehicles, consisting of 788 road vehicles and 147 trailers.

The decreased requirements in the rental of vehicles are attributable to strict controls implemented during the biennium for the utilization of car services to support the activities of the Transportation Unit.
