35. The Zero Emissions Research Initiative (UNU ZERI) held its third World Congress on Zero Emissions in Jakarta in July.

70. Closely related to the improvement of industrial efficiency is the UNU project on minimizing emissions, known by the acronym ZERI (for Zero Emissions Research Initiative).

The two numbers are zero as in zero footprint or zero oil and scale it infinity.

In the longer term, some scientists view nuclear fusion as a potentially inexhaustible and emission free means to meet the world's energy needs.
