The Advisory Committee on Administrative and Budgetary Questions requested the Board to undertake an evaluation of lessons learned with regard to the assignment of resident auditors in the missions and to include proposals for further improvement of coordination of their work with that of the Board (see A 59 736).

Figure II.9 illustrates progress in the implementation of the recommendations issued by resident auditors to peacekeeping missions and Headquarters during the past two financial years.
