As a member of both UNDG and the UNDG Executive Committee (ExCom), WFP participated fully in leading these efforts.

The reform agenda was to a significant extent designed to be implemented primarily by the UNDG Executive Committee agencies.

Each group elects its Executive Committee members, who then must be formally endorsed by the Meeting of the Parties.

The UNDG work plan will be shared with delegations at the upcoming session of the Economic and Social Council as part of the UNDG Executive Committee Issues Paper.

As current Chair of the Group of Eight, the United Kingdom would like to emphasize the commitment of that grouping, in particular its Counter Terrorism Action Group, to working with the CTC and the CTED.
