Debt capital usually represents the main source of funding for infrastructure projects implemented under the project finance modality.

In order to ensure that the share of TRAC line 1.1.1 resources allocated to low income countries remains in the range of 85 to 91 per cent of total TRAC line 1.1.1 resources, it became necessary to assign a low income country bonus.

Authorizes the Executive Director to redeploy resources between appropriation lines up to a maximum of 5 per cent of the appropriation to which the resources are redeployed

(b) Separate special accounts, as required by the Office s activities, for identification, administration, and management of resources entrusted to the charge of the Office by a funding source.

This source of financing is mainly utilized to support infrastructure projects that are hard to finance, such as large power projects.

Recalculation of the TRAC line 1.1.1 earmarkings

Following the identification of the future project, it is for the host Government to establish its relative priority and to assign human and other resources for its implementation.

Full compliance with these procedures will be necessary for the allocation and release of funds for targeted projects.
