The Senior Management Network will bring together senior managers throughout the system. Executive heads will be responsible for designating staff for participation in the Network and for guiding its direction.

In its current form, the Senior Management Service initiative fell within the prerogative of the Executive Heads, who were encouraged to take joint steps to improve the capacity of their senior managers.
