Finally, category 4 gathers persons who committed offences against property.

Chapter IV deals with crimes infringing upon the rights of the person and the democratic rights of citizens. Chapter V deals with property violations.

Violations of the right to property

A. Violations of property rights

(3) Private property shall be inviolable.

And do not consume each other's wealth in vain, nor offer it to men in authority with intent of usurping unlawfully and knowingly a part of the wealth of others.

And do not unjustly devour the property of each other, nor take their cases to judges in order that you may wrongfully devour a portion of other peoples property on purpose.

Consume not your goods between you in vanity neither proffer it to the judges, that you may sinfully consume a portion of other men's goods, and that wittingly.

And devour not your riches among yourselves in vanity, nor convey them unto the judges that ye may devour thereby a portion of other people's riches sinfully while ye know.

And eat up not one another's property unjustly (in any illegal way e.g. stealing, robbing, deceiving, etc.), nor give bribery to the rulers (judges before presenting your cases) that you may knowingly eat up a part of the property of others sinfully.

And do not consume one another s wealth by unjust means, nor offer it as bribes to the officials in order to consume part of other people s wealth illicitly, while you know.

Do not usurp one another's property by unjust means nor offer it to the judges so that you may devour knowingly and unjustly a portion of the goods of others.

And eat not up your property among yourselves in vanity, nor seek by it to gain the hearing of the judges that ye may knowingly devour a portion of the property of others wrongfully.

Do not eat up your wealth among yourselves wrongfully, nor proffer it to the judges in order to eat up a part of the people s wealth sinfully, while you know that it is immoral to do so .

Do not consume your wealth between you in falsehood neither propose it to judges, in order that you sinfully consume a portion of the people's wealth, while you know.

And do not consume one another's wealth unjustly or send it in bribery to the rulers in order that they might aid you to consume a portion of the wealth of the people in sin, while you know it is unlawful .

Do not use your property among yourselves in illegal ways and then deliberately bribe the rulers with your property so that you may wrongly acquire the property of others.

And do not swallow up your property among yourselves by false means, neither seek to gain access thereby to the judges, so that you may swallow up a part of the property of men wrongfully while you know.

Do not consume one another's property by unjust means, nor offer it as a bribe to the authorities, so that you may deliberately and wrongfully devour a part of other people's wealth.

And do not eat up your property among yourselves for vanities, nor use it as bait for the judges, with intent that ye may eat up wrongfully and knowingly a little of (other) people's property.

Statistics on crimes committed against immigrants and penalties imposed, which should help in assessing the degree of impunity for violations of the human rights of migrants, in particular with regard to their physical integrity and assets.

The instrument covers three categories of crimes crimes against the person, crimes against property and types of (transnational) organized crime.

Lastly, the fourth category includes persons who have committed offences against property.

It was suggested that broader categories, such as those of violent crimes, property crimes and economic crimes, might be used.

In terms of property crime, the police recorded rates are low, but crime victimization surveys indicate that only 14 per cent of victims of property crime actually reported the relevant incident to the police, the lowest rate of reporting in the world.

Article 18, paragraph 1, of the Constitution stipulates that Private property is inviolable.

The laws protect property owners against any attempts to infringe on these rights.

2. On receipt of a request for sharing confiscated proceeds of crime or property made in accordance with the provisions of this article, the Party where confiscated proceeds of crime or property are located shall share with the other Party such proceeds of crime or property, as set out in article 3 of this Agreement.

The Party transferring the proceeds of crime or property assumes no liability or responsibility for the proceeds of crime or property once they have been transferred and relinquishes all right or title to and interest in the transferred proceeds of crime or property.

Clause 35 would enable the forfeiture of property used in the commission of terrorist acts or property obtained as proceeds of crime where a person has been convicted of a terrorist offence.

Income or other benefits derived from proceeds of crime, from property into which proceeds of crime have been transformed or converted or from property with which proceeds of crime have been intermingled shall also be liable to the measures referred to in this article, in the same manner and to the same extent as proceeds of crime.

In determining the amount to transfer, the Party holding the confiscated proceeds of crime or property may include any interest and appreciation that has accrued on the confiscated proceeds of crime or property and may deduct reasonable expenses incurred in investigations, prosecution or judicial proceedings leading to the confiscation of the proceeds of crime or property.

Embezzlement, misappropriation or other diversion of property by a public official

6. (a) If proceeds of crime have been transferred or converted into other property, such property shall be liable to the measures referred to in this article instead of the proceeds

(a) (i) The conversion or transfer of property, knowing that such property is the proceeds of crime, for the purpose of concealing or disguising the illicit origin of the property or of helping any person who is involved in the commission of the predicate offence to evade the legal consequences of his or her action
