It is recognized that there is an increase in the number of corporate governance accolades, awards, ratings, rankings and even corporate governance stock market indexes where constituents are selected on the basis of good practices in corporate governance.

The corporate governance structures in place to assess, manage and report on these types of risks should be the subject of corporate governance disclosure.

Article 1 In order to regulate the governance structure of insurance companies and strengthen the compliance management of insurance companies, the present Guidelines are set down according to the Company Law of the People's Republic of China, the Provisions on Administering Insurance Companies, the Guiding Opinions concerning Regulating the Governance Structure of Insurance Companies and other laws and regulations.

The report provided in particular an overview of the main international initiatives in corporate governance disclosures and discussed the status of implementation of good practices of corporate governance disclosures at the company level.

Where there is no local code on corporate governance, companies should follow recognized international good practices.

The Law on the Statute of Magistrates, which is now in preparation, should ensure full independence of the judiciary in the exercise of judicial power and in the filing and conduct of public prosecutions.

The creation of a safe and stable legal, political and corporate environment must be the absolute priority.

Investors and public officials in countries where controlled companies dominate should stop using global governance standards based on the designers experience with widely held firms in the US. Rather, they should strive to develop standards appropriate for controlled firms.

Consequently, every State subject to the rule of law has a duty to establish a judicial system that meets the requirements of a fair trial.

(5) Corporate governance and its status

Two possible approaches include putting all corporate governance disclosures in a separate section of the annual report, or putting them in a stand alone corporate governance report.

The legal system is firmly based on the rule of law and a Judiciary, which is independent of the executive authorities and the legislature.

Laws in Indonesia, claims the Government, are aimed at guaranteeing civil and political rights as well as the independence and impartiality of the judiciary.

Rule of law and integrity of the judicial system were further the prerequisites to ensure the development and maintenance of fair, effective and efficient criminal justice institutions.

24. The court should be impartial and independent, complementary to national criminal justice systems but not subordinate to them or to any national or international political body.

Establishment of the rule of law, the creation of an independent judiciary and a public administration and respect for private property are indispensable in that regard.
