C. Administration of justice harmonization of the statutes of the United Nations Administrative Tribunal and the International Labour Organization Administrative Tribunal (JIU REP 2004 3)

The Minister of Justice, when broached about this subject, argued, however, that special domestic violence courts would not be effective since their establishment would lead to discrimination in the area of women apos s rights within the judiciary.

According to the Courts Act, lay judges participate in the administration of justice in county and city courts on the bases and pursuant to the procedure provided by the codes of court procedure.

In considering such legal and judicial matters, the Tribunal followed closely the developments of the rules of procedure of the International Court of Justice and other international courts or tribunals.

I will then make some remarks regarding the jurisdiction of the Tribunal.
