By providing employment opportunities and career paths for scientists and technologists, enterprises encourage students to enroll in scientific and technological fields.

Many managers have been trained through academic and technical courses at Moroccan universities and now carry out responsible functions in their own countries.

Although there are more women than men in all levels of higher education, they comprise only 24 of the academic staff, with lower numbers in engineering, exact sciences and technological studies.

During the 1992 93 school year there were 16 senior high schools in the arts with 3,401 students and 3 art colleges and or universities with 2,335 students.
