The task force on the Millennium Development Goals, created after the 2003 annual meeting of the United Nations Communications Group, worked towards developing a communications strategy to promote the Millennium Development Goals at the global and national levels.

24. The term mine awareness carries a specific meaning and a defined set of objectives directed towards severely contaminated countries.

Other flagship projects will need to continue focusing on advocacy and the fostering of dialogue.

In 1993 and 1994 various Government agencies held 600 local workshops to publicize the 1991 Constitution as a bill of human rights, and they also carried out several mass media campaigns with the same objective.
