A wrap up session on the work of the Security Council was held on 30 March, so as to discuss the African dimension in the work of the Security Council.

In accordance with rule 37 of the rules of procedure of the functional commissions of the Economic and Social Council, the Commission shall submit a report to the Council on the work of each session.

The Council should be informed regularly about the work of the Committee.

The Economic and Social Council takes note of the list of questions for inclusion in the programme of work of the Council for 2006.2
