New settlements or the expansion of existing settlements are being planned for the closed zone .

In addition to the expansion of existing settlements, new ones have been or are being established.

No new settlements should be built, no existing ones expanded and no bypass roads or security areas should be established without consulting the indigenous population.

The land confiscated is used for the building of new settlements, the expansion of existing ones, for stone quarries and for the construction of bypass roads,8 which are used only by settlers and link settlements to each other while bypassing towns and villages inhabited by Palestinians.

(f) Construction in settlements must be halted and plans for their expansion on adjacent land must be frozen

Two settlements are expanding around Alfei Manashe Nof Sharon, implanting 50 settler houses on Palestinian lands near Habla village and Givat Tal, with 400 new units.

In addition, the Israeli occupation authorities are still confiscating Palestinian lands, establishing Israeli settlements on them and expanding the ones already established.

19. Settlement expansion can be divided into different area categories, as follows
