The majority of projects are expected to be completed as targeted by the end of 2005.

The United Nations Office for Project Services implements United Nations International Drug Control Programme projects at a support cost rate of 7.5 per cent and the funding for the project is channelled through UNDP.

Secondly, whereas the majority of projects are implemented according to plan, the implementation of a few major projects has been delayed, in particular nationally executed projects.

The team has documented numerous times to the contractor that it was not correctly performing the scheduling and change order process in accordance with the contract and the current project management plan, resulting in a significant project delay.
