When makes a donation, an enterprise shall conform to the related laws, administrative regulations and provisions on financial affairs, set down an executive plan, define the scope and conditions of the donation, determine and implement the responsibility for its implementation and seriously perform the hand over procedures for the donated assets.

Slovenia would encourage international donors to contribute to the centre, which depended primarily on cash donations.

The General Assembly should, as a matter of principle, be requested to approve any such disposition of mission assets which would provide for free of charge contribution to the Government.

The multi donor, multi agency trust fund approach has been effective in enabling donors to fund projects through a single channel, reducing transaction costs to Iraq, donors and the United Nations Development Group and avoiding duplication.

E. Grants contributions

The territorial Government intends to secure donor financing to fund those infrastructure improvements.

A major new contribution of 115 million from the European Commission was deposited on 12 August 2005 and significant deposits from other donors are expected in the near future.

It was not too late to request donors to contribute adequately to the 1997 budget.

These expenditures were financed mainly through the treasury, but about 20 per cent of the financing (equivalent to 0.2 per cent of GDP) represented contributions, loans and grants from the cocoa sector.

10. The action to be taken by the General Assembly at its fifty second session is to take note of the report on the final disposition of the assets of UNOSOM and to approve donation of assets to the Somali district councils.

2.1.1 UNDP apos s experience in mobilizing grant financial resources for developing countries

Its source of income is derived from subscriptions from member affiliates, subsidies, donations and legacies.

With the significance being these funds have come in as a QT capital, not as grant or as philanthropy.

The remainder of the balance, consisting of donor contributions, was tied up in short term investments, the majority of which were placed in an investment pool in order to increase liquidity.

(e) When the Revolving Credit Fund is wound up, the capital will be returned to the donors, together with accrued interest, in proportion to the amount and date of their contributions to the Fund.

The inventory value of the assets of the Mission as at 30 June 2004 amounted to some 71.9 million, 12 per cent of which are proposed for donation to the Government of Sierra Leone.
