The Special Committee recognizes that peacekeeping operations may in some cases not only be military or political.

The reports of the Special Committee are considered in the Special Political and Decolonization Committee (formerly the Special Political Committee) of the General Assembly.

The Economic and Social Council, on the recommendation of the Commission at its fourth session, adopted resolution 1995 11, on the implementation of the Naples Political Declaration and Global Action Plan, in which it requested the Commission to ensure and monitor their full implementation.

Since it was the last day of the Committee's session, action had to be taken immediately in order to avoid the risk that, if delayed further, the matter could be transformed from a non political case into a political one.

In 2004, through an initiative of the Greek government, a high political level Interministerial Committee was formed, which prepared an integrated National Actions Plan against trafficking in human beings.

Finally, as the Supreme Council of Magistracy has to appoint one third of the members of the Constitutional Council, if the Supreme Council of Magistracy is not convened it will be impossible for the Constitutional Council to be formed.

The General Assembly proceeded to take action on the seven draft resolutions recommended by the Special Political and Decolonization Committee (Fourth Committee) in paragraph 29 of its report (A 52 616).

6. The Board has noted the action taken by the Administration.

However, the Ceasefire Political Committee and the Assessment and Evaluation Commission still have to be set up.

Local minority self governments and the National Gypsy Self Government are essential partners in designing and implementing Roma policy.

These include a Ceasefire Political Commission, a Ceasefire Joint Military Committee, Area Joint Military Committees and numerous joint military teams to be deployed throughout the area of operations.

That was an inappropriate action because the Fifth Committee was a technical committee and should not be politicized.

The Consultative Committee on Administrative Questions (CCAQ), together with the Information Systems Coordinating Committee of the Administrative Committee on Coordination, are in the process of developing a database, known as the Participating Agencies Mobility System (PAMS), to facilitate the inter agency mobility of staff.

Since peacekeeping, in its political, financial and legal aspects, was a collective responsibility of all Member States, Viet Nam felt that the participation of a larger number of Member States in the Special Committee apos s work would make it more effective.

12. By its resolution 47 233, the General Assembly established the Special Political and Decolonization Committee (Fourth Committee) by merging the former Special Political Committee and Fourth (Decolonization) Committee.

Government officials cannot be actively involved in political activities.
