The International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea (ITLOS) is an international judicial body established by the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea to adjudicate disputes arising out of the interpretation and application of the Convention.

Under article 14 of the Tribunal's statute, its competence has also been extended to staff members of member organizations of the Pension Fund, two specialized agencies, the International Maritime Organization (IMO) and the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and to the staff of the Registries of the International Court of Justice and the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea, as well as to the staff of the International Seabed Authority.
