There are still challenges in improving recruitment throughout the organization.

In spite of efforts made by various organizations, such as WTO, FAO, UNIDO and other bodies, in the area of quality control and health and hygiene standards, it was recognized that small and medium size enterprises in developing countries still faced enormous difficulties in accessing information.

In this respect, there would be no problem on the part of the OSCE, because I think that we are a project and effect oriented organization rather than one in competition with other organizations in processes like forum shopping, if I may put it that way.

In that regard, he highlighted the unique role played by the Organization of African Unity (OAU) and its cooperation with other regional organizations and the United Nations in the areas of preventive diplomacy, peacekeeping and peacemaking.
