ZKI was a service of DLR.

That membership has been taken over by the German Aerospace Center (DLR), which was created on 1 October 1997 through the merger of DARA and the German Aerospace Research Establishment.

The Aerospace Breeding Research Centre of CASC had flown and recovered various seeds on its recoverable spacecraft.

In 1996 the British National Space Centre continued its discussions with the national space agencies of France (CNES), Germany (DARA), and Italy (ASI) and the European Space Agency on harmonization of debris activities.

Several initiatives are filling that gap, such as the United Nations Organization Satellite (UNOSAT), RESPOND and the facility for the Center for Satellite Based Crisis Information (ZKI) of the German Aerospace Center (DLR).

Between 1991 and 1996, the workshops were also co organized by the Austrian Space Agency, the Centre national d apos études spatiales (French National Centre for Space Studies), the German Space Agency, the Institute for Space and Astronautical Science of Japan, the International Centre for Theoretical Physics and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration of the United States of America.

In March 1995 and November 1995 the British National Space Centre (BNSC) continued its discussions with the national space agencies of France (CNES), Germany (DARA), and Italy (ASI) and the European Space Agency (ESA) on harmonisation of debris activities.

Representatives of DLR, ESA and the Centre national d'études spatiales (CNES) of France delivered the keynote presentations.

The programmes are coordinated by the British National Space Centre (BNSC).

In 1995, the Swedish Space Corporation became a co owner of Tromsø Satellite Station a.s (TSS) together with the Norwegian Space Centre.

(b) Earthguard I was proposed by the Kayser Threde company, the German Aerospace Centre (DLR), the Spaceguard Foundation and the International Space University.

The IADC membership includes the European Space Agency (ESA), the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), the Russian Space Agency (RKA), the China National Space Administration (CNSA), Japan, the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) and the French Space Agency (CNES).

The Centre for Air and Space Research (HUZAM) of the Istanbul Technical University was established in 1995.

CSA, in collaboration with the United States National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and the Centre national d apos études spatiales (CNES) (the French National Centre for Space Studies), has recently made important discoveries with the Wind Imaging Interferometer (WINDII).

The vulnerability assessment included using hypervelocity impact equations, as well as actually subjecting spacecraft hardware to hypervelocity impact tests at the NASA Johnson Space Center.

The Centre's facilities were mainly provided by departments of the University and the Regional Centre for Training in Aerospace Surveys, which was also located on the campus of the University.

The mission control centre near Moscow and the Cosmonauts apos training centre in Star City have been connected with the ESA establishments (ESTEC, EAC, ESOC, ESA HQ) and the control centres Toulouse and Oberpfaffenhofen, respectively.

The Norwegian Space Centre plays a core role in implementing major pilot projects of national interest.

In 1962, the National Centre for Space Studies (CNES) was set up and the foundations of the French space industry were laid.

The Workshop was co sponsored by the European Space Agency (ESA), hosted by the German Aerospace Center (DLR) and organized in conjunction with the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization and the International Strategy for Disaster Reduction.
