(a) the claim against the owner, demise charterer, manager or operator of the ship is secured by a maritime lien and is within any of the following categories

In the view of some delegations, under Article 6, only claims against the owners, demise charterer, manager or operator of the vessel could be secured by a national maritime lien.

1.
