a) On the Islamic Conference Youth Forum for dialogue and cooperation

Poland's proactive approach to the promotion of the Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban Treaty was reaffirmed at the above mentioned forums and during the respective sessions of the First Committee of the General Assembly.

Participants discussed issues such as the United Nations system and the possible functions of a permanent forum the mandate, level and composition of a permanent forum and participation and membership.

Some State representatives noted that their Governments had not yet taken a definitive position on many issues being discussed at the workshop, including the question of the establishment of a permanent forum.

The Forum encourages organizers of pre sessional regional meetings of indigenous peoples to develop suggestions and recommendations for the Forum to consider and encourages its members to participate in such meetings.
