Staff costs, support costs and operating and other overhead expenses comprised 11.6 per cent, 3.8 per cent and 3.9 per cent, respectively, of the total cost of the project.

However, these costs have been factored into the overall project cost.

Seven cost elements had been addressed, including the cost related to investment projects to phase out consumption and production completely (including bilateral programmes), non investment activities, administrative costs, project preparation costs, core unit funding for implementing agencies, operating costs of the Multilateral Fund secretariat and for holding meetings of the Executive Committee, as well as Treasurer's fees.

The proposal reflected a decrease of 4,360,768, which was reallocated to support the increase in the hardship component.

47. The Office is assessing and documenting, on project files, whether the costs of delivering a project are likely to be met by the charges or fees set by or agreed with the relevant clients.

The cost estimate provides for the purchase of one 250 line telephone exchange at a cost of 50,000 plus related freight charges at 12 per cent of the total cost ( 6,000).

Article 72 provides that the husband shall bear the expenses of preparing his wife for burial and of her funeral.

The proposal reflected an increase of 4,385,069, which was accommodated through decreases in the mobility and the non removal elements of the current scheme.

Depending on the funding source of the project, the Office s services are compensated with either support costs or management fees.
