Annex Rules of procedure A AC.109 2101

A prohibition of that type already appeared in the provisions of Protocol II Additional to the Geneva Conventions. Any exception to that rule would only weaken the Additional Protocol.

Add an appropriate rule to the provisional rules of procedure and or adopt a presidential statement on the matter and annex it to the provisional rules of procedure.

The rules of procedure of the Commission currently have three annexes, which  as provided for by rule 58, paragraph 2 form an integral part of the rules of procedure.

Pursuant to rule 20 of the rules of procedure of the General Assembly, please find attached an explanatory memorandum (annex I) and a draft resolution (annex II).

Cooperative societies are guided by the cooperative acts of 1984, the cooperative rules of 1987 and the by laws of individual societies framed in accordance with the acts and rules.

This provision was incorporated in the rules of procedure at the fourth session (resolution 362 (IV), annex I).

Regulations at the local level tend to be stricter than those at the federal or state level.

Rule 23.3 stipulates that the offices of the President, the three Vice Presidents and the Rapporteur shall be subject to equitable geographical rotation within a five year cycle described in appendix A to the rules of procedure.

The annex to the resolution, however, contains several provisions which, while they may not necessarily require the amendment of the rules of procedure, nonetheless affect the understanding or application of those rules.

It functions in accordance with the relevant provisions of Part XV and Part XI of the Convention, the Statute of the Tribunal (hereinafter the Statute ), as contained in annex VI to the Convention, and the Rules of the Tribunal (hereinafter the Rules ).
