Under this option, UNOPS will focus primarily on the delivery of results.

In 2004, UNICRI improved its reporting on project performance and monitored the implementation and achievements of its main programmes.

MAIN RESULTS

The document describes the situation which required the development of a project and the reasons the project is initiated outlines the plan of what will be done and what will be produced when and by whom and assesses the situation that is expected to exist and what will happen when the project ends.

In response to the audit, UNOPS submitted a final certified statement on the projects completed, and on the basis of this, OHCHR has requested UNOPS to remit the unspent balance of some 1.1 million for completed projects.

The first item on the provisional agenda of any session shall be the adoption of the agenda, unless the election of officers is required under Rule 12, in which case the elections shall be the first item on the provisional agenda.

It was organized so that the project sponsors (mostly international organizations and industries from developed countries) would constitute the decision making body.

The methodological approach of the project and the main results will be the subject of a manual to be disseminated to ECA member States.

Main findings

Among the highlights of the course were the presentations made by participants on the results of their visual interpretation projects.

This task has become the main objective for 1998 of the Human Rights Field Office.

Objectives, principal functions and priorities

The Committee is composed of the President of the General Assembly, who presides (see item 4 and annex I), the 21 Vice Presidents of the Assembly (see item 6 and annex III) and the Chairmen of the Main Committees (see item 5 and annex II).

Important outputs of this project consist of geologic and hazard maps, as well as knowledge of interferometric techniques.

Now that the outcomes of the major recent international conferences had entered the implementation stage, UNITAR should develop more focused training projects reflecting those outcomes.
