The Committee also welcomes the additional information provided in writing by the State party and by the delegation in the introductory remarks and in the answers to the questions raised, which demonstrates the State party's willingness to establish an open and fruitful dialogue with the Committee.

Other delegations were of the view that the current level of detail in paragraph 9 was unnecessary in that part of the Guide (which contained general introductory remarks on the use of electronic communications), but that the points raised could be made elsewhere in the Guide.

In his introductory remarks to this item, the representative of the Republic of Korea observed that the main issue was how to strike the right balance between preserving the independence of mandate holders and the need for more coordination and coherence among mandate holders in their working methods.
