3. Provision of dual use goods, petroleum and petroleum products, paragraph 6

Audit of contracts for petroleum products

(a) Supplies of petroleum and petroleum products to the democratically elected Government of Sierra Leone, at its request, and

(e) To consider and decide expeditiously requests for the approval of imports of petroleum and petroleum products in accordance with paragraph 7 above

Petroleum products of 4.2 million supplied to executive mansion and others against taxes

One answer to their concern lies in reevaluating and developing new uses of petroleum products.

1. To sell or supply petroleum and petroleum products listed in annex I, whether or not originated in the Community, in the territory of Sierra Leone

On 1 November 1997, the Sierra Leone (United Nations Sanctions) Order 1997 came into operation, further prohibiting, with ancillary provisions, the export of petroleum and petroleum products and of arms and related material.

2. Decides to terminate, with immediate effect, the prohibitions on the sale or supply to Sierra Leone of petroleum and petroleum products referred to in paragraph 6 of resolution 1132 (1997)

Taking note of the decision by the Government of Iraq not to export petroleum and petroleum products permitted pursuant to resolution 1111 (1997) during the period 8 June to 13 August 1997,

Although some progress has been made, that very progress is jeopardized by high prices for petroleum products.

On 16 March, the Council held formal consultations on Sierra Leone and adopted resolution 1156 (1998), by which it lifted the sanctions imposed against Sierra Leone relating to the import of petroleum and petroleum products.

Least developed countries major export products are crude petroleum, coffee, diamonds, cotton, jute, copper, cobalt, fish and seafood, tropical wood and bananas.

The petroleum products are poor in quality due to high sulfur content and become one of the causes of environmental pollution.

As China's exports of petroleum products have a huge impact on the Asian market, teapot refinery got more attentions.

The second group of items procured in 2002 by the United Nations consisted of chemical and petroleum products, amounting to US 64.5 million.

After obtaining crude oil import license, teapot refinery can import Oman crude oil and Russian crude oil, which have low sulfur content and improved petroleum products.

The country had seen strong economic growth, largely because of the sale of petroleum products, and it was important that these gains be disseminated throughout the society.

A fuel procedures manual has been promulgated and a petroleum products contract renegotiated, resulting in a reduction of service fees by a total of 194,000 per annum.

Like all small countries, and tropical islands in particular, the Comoros depends for its exports on a small number of agricultural products and must, on the other hand, import almost all the consumer goods, petroleum products and raw materials which it needs.

Moreover, during the reporting period, the National Parliament approved the law on the Petroleum Fund, the law on petroleum taxation and the law on petroleum activities.

In the next few days, the European Union plans to adopt a Council regulation concerning the interruption of certain economic relations with Sierra Leone. The aim of the regulation is to implement the decision of the Security Council concerning control of exports of dual use products and petroleum and petroleum products to Sierra Leone. A European Union regulation is binding in its entirety and directly applicable in Sweden. English

Petroleum gas, liquefied

Moreover, most plastic products are made from so called petroleum based commodity thermoplastics. Given that a non renewable resource forms the basis of many plastic products most of which will not last long current plastics usage patterns are not sustainable.

85. Supply Officer Petroleum, Oil and Lubricants

Its exports of goods comprise mainly fruits, olive oil, raw cotton, tobacco, and some refined petroleum products. Germany, which many argue should spend more, imports just 0.2 of its goods from Greece.

The country needs petroleum.

The industrial sector is dominated by Hovensa LLC, one of the largest refineries in the world, situated in St. Croix, which produces 440,000 barrels of refined petroleum products daily.

It may be worthwhile to mention here that petroleum products imported for the United Nations, other international bodies, embassies, NGOs and the like are duty free and constitute around one quarter of total imports.

In the case of public transport, substantial changes in bus fares were effected only after 1973 when operating costs escalated sharply with the increase in the price of petroleum products.

The shortage of disinfectants resulted from the lack of petroleum based commodities in the country, as the international sanctions imposed by the Security Council barred the importation of such products.
