There are 87 unpaid contributions for 1996 (totalling 0.372 million) and 110 unpaid contributions for 1997 (totalling 3.877 million).

However, assessed peacekeeping contributions should not be used for activities traditionally funded through voluntary contributions.

This figure, as shown in table 6, includes estimated contributions of 100,289,000 incorporating 27,559,000 for general purpose contributions, which decrease by 9.6 per cent compared to those for 1996 1997, and 72,730,000 for special purpose contributions, which increase by 14.3 per cent.

A further 32 per cent came from employers apos contributions, whilst insured persons contributions accounted for 8 per cent of expenditure.
