The project, initiated in close cooperation with the International Association of Insolvency Practitioners (INSOL), benefitted from suggestions and expert advice from practitioners from many countries such as administrators of insolvent debtors apos assets, attorneys, judges and officials concerned with insolvency matters.

It also made available the expert resources of each institution to all members of the network, thus multiplying each professional s outreach and effectiveness.

In addition, it had made executive searches for candidates from those States for the upper levels of the Professional category.

(e) The resources allocated to the Programme of Assistance to the Palestinian People (PAPP) include two international professional posts, three national professionals, and 10 support staff

Furthermore, the Committee notes that the ratio of General Service posts to Professional posts would be reduced from 1.7 to 1.3.

With regard to recruitment from unrepresented and underrepresented Member States, UN Habitat remains committed to employing Professionals from such countries and hopes to improve in that regard in 2005.

At present, of its 22 staff members, 9 are professionals, 1 is an associate expert and 12 are general service staff.

No priority country should have fewer than two professional WASH staff members, and most such countries will require more.

They are astonished at the openness of spirit of persons coming from very precarious lives.

In the case of the National Professional Officers and appointments of limited duration groupings, it noted that the salary structure and levels were considerably different than for the Professional and higher categories.

Figure 2, on page 6, demonstrates this restructuring and sets forth the growth of UNCDF regional and country office personnel (excluding junior professional officers) from 47 in 2005 to 75 in 2007, with more than 80 per cent of the increase in numbers of professional staff.

Core UNMOVIC staff in the Professional category at Headquarters at present total 50 weapons experts and other personnel drawn from 24 nationalities, nine of whom are women.

Companies are the main vectors of technology transfer and personnel training they build up local and cross border value chains they foster employment and entrepreneurship they engage in specialized product development and they engage workers and entrepreneurs in these processes.

This includes the downgrading of two professional positions and the elimination of eight professional and two general service positions.
