One car emits four tons.

We inject our own aerosols into the atmosphere, and we have trace gases, and not just carbon dioxide it's methane, ozone, oxides of sulfur and nitrogen.

And it puts 18 thousand tons of carbon dioxide in the air.

Carbon dioxide emissions and removals from soils

CO2 represented 82 per cent of 1990 emissions, methane (CH4) about 8 per cent and nitrous oxide (N2O) about 10 per cent.

The use of wood products in place of materials that are associated with the release of large volumes of carbon dioxide could lead to significant net reductions in carbon dioxide emissions.

Omissions identified by the review team include CO2 emissions from land use change, CO2 from incineration of carbon in waste, N2O from the manufacture of inorganic chemicals and N2O from animal wastes.

Hungary is committed to stabilizing national emissions of CO2, and the communication also made a reference in the preface to the commitment to stabilize greenhouse gas emissions.

This may lead to further limitations to the growth of CO2 emissions at the national level and contribute positively to the achievement of the EU wide CO2 stabilization target.

Emissions of methane could be slightly reduced, while those of nitrous oxide could increase.

Table 1 shows the percentage change in CO2 emissions from 1990 to 1995 for the major sources.

This is mainly caused by a steep decrease in the emissions of CFCs, primarily from refrigeration plants (from 1.6 Gt CO2 eq to 0.3 Gt CO2 eq), responding to the requirements of the Montreal Protocol.

Hypothetically, switching off the lights for an hour would cut CO2 emissions from power plants around the world. But, even if everyone in the entire world cut all residential lighting, and this translated entirely into CO2 reduction, it would be the equivalent of China pausing its CO2 emissions for less than four minutes.
