My Representative has since been chairing meetings of the Committee jointly with Prime Minister Gedi or his representative.

The Conference may elect the President from among representatives or it may elect as its President a person other than a representative of a participant.

The delegation was learning a great deal from its dialogue with the Committee.

The Conference brought participants in direct contact with representatives of the space industry, with whom they could discuss their projects.

He also thanks the representatives of trade unions and non governmental organizations who graciously spent time with him.

The Committee notes the constructive dialogue it had with the delegation of the State party, and the replies it received from the delegation during the dialogue.

123. At the end of the session, the participants in the Seminar regretted the absence of representatives of the Governments most concerned by migration and of NGOs working with this vulnerable sector of the population.

Close contacts have also been maintained with representatives of a broad range of Member States and other official delegations both inside and outside Iraq.

In the past, the President of the General Assembly had consulted with the members of the Committee to determine which delegation wanted to give up its membership and which wished to replace it.

At these meetings, indigenous representatives have the opportunity to present their concerns to delegations and thus can influence the outcome of these conferences.

The Board met with representatives of donor and other interested Governments, staff members of OHCHR working on other activities relevant to the mandate of the Fund, and representatives of other United Nations agencies.

Participants included senior government officials, representatives of ombudspersons' associations and of regional networks of NGOs.

The Committee has been encouraged by the attendance of the high ranking delegation and expresses its appreciation for the opportunity to continue its dialogue with the State party.

Nevertheless he expressed willingness to help the Mission whenever specific complaints were brought to the attention of the United States Mission and offered to meet with the representative of Mali.
