While the debate about China s near term outlook should hardly be trivialized, the far bigger story is its economy s solid progress on the road to rebalancing namely, a structural shift away from manufacturing and construction activity toward services. The growing innovative capabilities in this area have created a new spectrum of technology choices in fields such as energy, transportation, agriculture, construction and manufacturing.

This institutions supports, encourages and organizes the establishment of manufacturing industries, agrifood and other kinds of SMEs.

The private sector, the informal sector and civic groups have been taking an increasing role since the introduction of deregulation in 1993. The Zimbabwe private sector housing programme is mobilizing 150 million to address the construction, building materials and construction equipment industries and the land delivery and housing finance systems.

That happens in the building industry as well.

Further actions being taken to improve the housing sector are a review of the complex set of legal arrangements dealing with land matters, improvement of both the housing financial systems, the housing production process and, in particular, the building materials and construction industries.

With technology based development, the percentage share of employment in the agriculture sector declines and the shares in the manufacturing, construction, the wholesale and retail trade, etc., show increasing trends.
