The Brazilian Government, through MEC, also fosters an improvement in education in quilombo communities (communities of former fugitive slaves).

262. Since 1994, the nationwide project to enable adults to complete the primary level of education by distance learning under the Social Plan for Education has been operating in 14 of Argentina apos s 24 administrative districts.
