The licenses are issued for one year and may be renewed.

How long is a license valid?

The certificate permitting manufacture of guns for civilian use and the certificate permitting rationed sale of guns for civilian use shall be valid for a period of three years.

Is there a mechanism to monitor expiry of the validity and or the expiry of individual licenses?

Based on an application, the validity of the licenses for manufacturing, trading, collecting or displaying the arms can be prolonged for five years and the license for obtaining the arms can be prolonged for six months.
