Needs assessments were conducted.

Assessment of the drug abuse situation was strengthened particularly through rapid assessments.

Two rapid assessments in Asia and two others in Central America were completed in 1996.

Using more recent material, readily available, the GLASOD study has been improved by LADA.

An Evaluation Framework and Methodology Report, which sets out the evaluation questions to be addressed and methodologies, was completed in March of 2005.

The evaluation assessed those activities in the light of the prescribed mandate.

The Evaluation of the National Child Benefit Initiative Synthesis Report compiled evidence from a number of evaluation studies.

It highlights findings of recently completed assessments such as the 2005 2006 GEO Yearbook, the Millennium Ecosystem Assessment and the Global International Waters Assessment (GIWA).

China has also contributed to improving the methodological framework by testing the VSA indicators for local assessment.

It had acceded to the African Peer Review Mechanism.

The first phase of the Global Marine Assessment the so called assessment of assessments will be important.

In accordance with its terms of reference, the assessment mission undertook an in depth and critical review of the operations of AMIS, assessed the implementation of the recommendations of the previous assessment mission (10 to 20 March 2005) and evaluated the prevailing security situation in Darfur.

Market evaluations and assessments

A comprehensive needs assessment was carried out at the end of January and the results were made available to humanitarian and development partners.

The National Industrial Chemicals Notification and Assessment Scheme (NICNAS) undertook a risk assessment of chrysotile in 1995 and published the final report in February 1999.

We do not consider it to have been embellished.

The Working Hours (Adjustment) Act was evaluated in 2003.

The Panel makes the evaluation and provides its report to the COP.

II. Assessment

The board of directors of the listed company shall give explicit opinions regarding the independence of the evaluation organ, the rationality of the evaluation assumptions, the correlation between the evaluation methods and the evaluation purpose, and the fairness of the evaluated price.
