No additional resources are required for the purchase of vehicles.

Table 2 is complemented by other data on the scope of the organizations' procurement portfolio, outsourced in 2002 to other procuring entities within the United Nations system in the pursuit of coordination and division of labour.

This ratio is also an important factor in the decision on outsourcing of procurement to other organizations, given the likelihood that organizations with a higher ratio of staff cost to output would be interested in lowering their costs by outsourcing their procurement to more cost efficient organizations.

Most of the organizations currently use e procurement for displaying or posting procurement information on their web sites, including procurement guidelines, and for communicating with suppliers and clients.
