In some cases, provisions have been included for the purpose of clarifying, as appropriate, that the contracts entered into between the project company and its contractors are exclusively governed by private law, that the contractors are not agents of the host Government, and that, accordingly, the host Government has no liability for the acts of the contractors or no obligation to pay compensation for work related illness, injury or death to those contractors employees.
