B. Global cooperation framework

Global Change in Mountain Regions is a support activity of the European Union's Sixth Framework Programme on Sustainable Development, Global Change and Ecosystems.

Through this framework, the Special Unit seeks to complement the UNDP global framework in identifying and sharing knowledge and proven approaches to human development, particularly in efforts to meet the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs).
