The Council shall fix a date by which members shall notify the depositary of their acceptance of the amendment.

2. On the basis of its article 68, the Convention will enter into force on the ninetieth day after the date of deposit of the thirtieth instrument of ratification, acceptance, approval or accession.

The present Convention shall enter into force on the day following the date of deposit of the instrument of ratification, acceptance, approval or accession with the Secretary General of the United Nations.

2. The amendment shall enter into force for each State party that deposits its instrument of ratification, acceptance or approval of the amendment on the thirtieth day after the date on which two thirds of the States parties have deposited their instruments of ratification, acceptance or approval with the depositary.

This Convention enters into force on the first day of the month following the expiration of six months after the date of deposit of the third instrument of ratification, acceptance, approval or accession.

For each State that ratifies, accepts or approves the Convention or accedes thereto after the deposit of the fiftieth instrument of ratification, acceptance, approval or accession, the Convention enters into force on the ninetieth day after the date of deposit with the Depositary of its instrument of ratification, acceptance, approval or accession.

However, despite the Government s acceptance of the recommendation for an advance party and its acknowledgment of the date of arrival in Lagos, it neither requested nor organized any meetings with the advance party.

Approval Acceptance

The amendment shall enter into force for any other Party on the ninetieth day after the date on which that Party deposits with the Depositary its instrument of acceptance of the said amendment.

Residence Permit Provisional Regulations provides that, for those in line with the residence permit conditions, the public security organs shall issue a residence permit within 15 days from the date of acceptance.

Jiangxi clearly stipulates that for applicants who meet the conditions of application and have complete application documents, the public security shall issue a residence permit within 5 working days from the date of acceptance.

The annex shall enter into force for Parties which withdraw their notification of non acceptance on the ninetieth day after the date on which withdrawal of such notification has been received by the Depositary.

Date and venue of the next meeting 55. The Forum reaffirmed its appreciation and acceptance of the kind offer of the Federated States of Micronesia to host the twenty ninth South Pacific Forum.
