Foundation grants are given largely as substantial and flexible grants to be used at the discretion of the recipients.

At the university level, the University Grants Commission has identified ten universities for establishing facilities for courses on human rights.

The above mentioned project grants have been paid and the beneficiaries of travel grants have participated in the Working Group.

The non governmental organization Women's Rights Association also grants annual awards to journalists of the press or electronic journalism, who systematically promote gender equality.

The High Commissioner for Human Rights approved those recommendations on 27 March and the grants were paid before the meeting of the Working Group.
