Meeting with Mohamed Ali Foum, Special Envoy for Somalia of the Africa Union

The Senior Human Rights Adviser meets regularly with the Nepal Bar Association and many of the human rights non governmental organizations, particularly those who are engaged in monitoring and protection work.

Special emphasis is given to protecting human rights defenders and to following up on any reports of threats or reprisals.

During its consideration of the reports, the Committee met with the President, the Prosecutor and the Registrar of the International Tribunal and with representatives of the Secretary General, who provided additional information.
