Progress report on the updating of the 1993 SNA

This is consistent with the revised reporting guidelines.

The Committee adopted the report as amended during the discussions.

An updated status of contributions will be distributed at the meeting.

The report of the meeting, available on the SNA update website, provides detailed descriptions of the new recommendations.

A revisedThe draft presented by the rapporteur was discussed during the eighty fourth session.

The Committee adopted the report as amended in the course of the discussion.

Since the first reporting period, 49 States had reported revising their laws and procedures.

The text of letters of assist has been modified to include reference to receiving and inspection reports.

These requests have been taken into account in finalizing the revised version of the report, which was posted on the website of the Secretariat on 13 April 2005.

However, neither had amended its legislation as of the writing of this report.

It is noted with regret that the report under consideration did not comply with the Committee apos s revised general guidelines for the preparation of reports.

At its 14th meeting, on 11 May 2005, the Committee adopted the draft report on its third session (ICCD CRIC(3) L.1), as orally amended, and authorized the Rapporteur to finalize it, with the assistance of the secretariat, as appropriate.

In line with the resolution adopted by the Review Conference, a further revised report (TD B COM.2 CLP 21) was submitted to the third session of the Group of Experts, which requested its further revision further revised versions were respectively submitted to the fourth and fifth sessions of the Group, which again requested revised versions.

The Government will initiate the revision of current labour laws on the basis of the PCIR report.

Countries are requested to report relevant data in accordance with ISIC, Rev.3, or, alternatively, with ISIC, Rev.2.

The Committee welcomes the fourth periodic report, as well as the addendum to the report, updating information submitted by the State party.

The Ozone Secretariat is requested to prepare a standard format for reporting according to decision VII 9 that shall take into account the said revision.

The revision of the format of the Annual Protection Report (APR), with the objectives of simplifying reporting requirements and to increase its utility, is currently under way.

Azerbaijan and South Africa reported on action undertaken to amend current legislation.

48. With regard to the Working Group s report, his delegation suggested the following amendments.

The Special Rapporteur is aware of no efforts to amend these laws.

I will not describe the adopted amendments in detail but, instead, refer you to the written report.

On completion of this process, the revised accountability framework will be reported to the General Assembly.

The audit committee Charter has been reviewed and revised in line with the United Nations governance review.

The SBSTA agreed to consider this issue at its twenty fifth session.

(d) Updated study on the right to food by Mr. Eide (decision 1997 108).

The expert meeting endorsed the global review and agreed that its findings should be incorporated in a revised version, which would subsequently be published.

(b) Amend its guidelines for the preparation of reports by States parties to include specific information on the human rights of women and gender disaggregated data

A revised version of the study,Amphetamine type Stimulants a Global Review, UNDCP Technical Series No. 3 (Vienna, 1996). reflecting comments made at the thirty ninth session of the Commission, was subsequently published and used as the main background document for the second Expert Meeting on Amphetamine type Stimulants.

Globally, since the special session, 33 States have reported that they have revised their procedures.

A revised version of the draft code, which reflects the comments made by States, is contained in the annex to the present report.

The revisions are reflected in the draft financial rules for the Fund of UNDCP contained in annex I to the present report.

On that basis, the Special Rapporteur invited the Commission on Human Rights to consider amending his mandate.

In his report the Ombudsman appealed for greater security in the former Sectors and a revision of the property law.

Revised emission factors have been laid down in the Energy Report 1996 of the Austrian federal Government.

47. Annexed to this final, revised and expanded report is the revised text of the set of principles as requested by the Sub Commission in its decision 1996 119.

The CTC would be grateful to receive an outline and a progress report on work on the amendment to the Firearms Act that is reported to be in progress (as per page 15 of the fourth report).

To revise the reporting format resulting from decision VII 9 to cover exports (including re exports) of all ozone depleting substances, including mixtures containing them, and to urge the Parties to implement the revised reporting format expeditiously.

The updated plan of action is contained in the annex to the report of the Secretary General dated 22 March 2001 (A 56 61).
