The members designated by the Committee for the confidential inquiry shall determine their own methods of work in conformity with the provisions of the Convention and the rules of procedure of the Committee.

Arbitration Rules of the United Nations

According to rule 98 of the rules of procedure of the General Assembly, the Sixth Committee was the Legal Committee, but many legal topics were being taken up by other Main Committees and the plenary General Assembly.

CLOUT documents are available on the website of the UNCITRAL secretariat on the Internet (http www.un.or.at uncitral).

Article 5 of the National Human Rights Commission Act B.E. 2542 (1999) states that the Commission must be composed of an equal number of women and men.

The law provides for an organizing committee and a complaints committee, both of which will be co chaired by the co Ministers of the Interior.

Currently, CLOUT covers Limitation Convention (1974 1980), United Nations Sales Convention (1980), UNCITRAL Model Arbitration Law (1985) and Hamburg Rules (1978).

Supplementary legislative provisions are under consideration and will be drafted in line with existing legislation in countries which are members of the Council of Europe and in accordance with the conventions of that Council.

The law to be applied by the Commission is set out in article 31 of the Rules.

It wishes to receive the text of the Code when it is enacted.

27. Security Council resolutions should include more precise mandates for sanctions committees, including a standard approach to be followed by the committees.

The Namibia Sports Act (Act of 19) requires that at least three of the 14 members of the Namibian Sports Commission be women.

The Commission emphasized the importance of CLOUT for the purpose of promoting the uniform application of the legal texts that resulted from its work.

Article 2 of the statute states that members of the Commission shall be persons of recognized competence in international law.

The other relevant law is the Election Commission Order 2002.

The Namibia Film Commission Act 6 of 2000 requires that one third of the eight members of the Board be women.

His third suggestion was to establish a rule that, whenever a topic was under discussion directly involving a particular member of the Commission, that member should be available during the consideration of the relevant issue, so as to allow the Committee to receive clarification direct from a current member of the Commission.
