Final draft of the Central Product Classification, Version 2

A draft of this report was presented to delegates to the 1995 ICC General Assembly and a final version of the report is now ready for publication.

Countries will be consulted on the final recommendations and on the drafts of chapters of Rev.1.

Mr. Abelian (Secretary of the Committee) pointed out that paragraphs 10 and 11 of the draft text, which had been agreed upon by the Committee during informal consultations, had been omitted from the final version of the draft resolution.

Such linguistic corrections will be reflected in the final version of the draft resolution.

The structure of the final draft of the ISIC, Revision 4, is also available to the Statistical Commission as a background document.

The Chairman said that the draft resolution was indeed the version that had been reissued for technical reasons.

In this light, I would suggest that the latest revision of the draft preambular paragraph, circulated on 29 July 2005, be used as the basis for the next round of discussions.
