The topic of today's thematic debate, disarmament machinery, is of very great interest to my delegation.

We find the topic of today's debate useful and relevant to that of last week's Security Council summit.

On 29 June 1998, for example, an open debate on the topic was held in the Security Council.

His delegation therefore welcomed the initiatives of Liechtenstein to promote the debate on self determination, especially the conferences organized on that topic.
