The increases are partly offset by lower net income from the sale of publications, statistical and population products and gift and news stand items at Headquarters.

The net consolidated income, including the tsunami funds, is expected to total 915.9 million.

As indicated in table 1, the PSD net consolidated income for 2006 is projected at 584.4 million.

Without allocating operating expenses between the two revenue generating activities, the projected 2006 net PSD income (regular resources) of 334.4 million comprises net operating income from private sector fund raising of 302.7 million and from card and gift sales of 53.1 million, offset by the cost of investment funds of 21.4 million to support fund raising and sales initiatives.
